"This is a good hotel"

"A bit complicated getting up to the room through multiple stairs & narrow/short passage ways - especially if you have luggage. The blinds above one bed were missing, so the bright light woke us up at 5 am... And hazard all over - wooden beams going across the bed so if you sat up abruptly- you hit your head. The bathroom too had a beam going across and you had to duck to use the toilet or shower. Surprised these issues are permissible for a lodging facility..."

"The parking was good, off from the road, car was secure. The hostess was great, and very friendly. Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths...

The staff members at the front desk and restaurant were so warm and helpful, the entire hotel feels like you’re stepping back in time in all the best ways, and the room was INCREDIBLE. "What a lucky, last-minute find! Wow! So sad we were only there for 1 night! Amazingly placed hotel for Stratford. Walking distance to all amenities and tourist attractions. All of the staff, from the cleaner, waiting staff (slender, small, long dark haired young lady, very sweet, didn't catch her name sadly, that looked after us for dinner), Receptionists (day and evening) and the Manager, were ALL so helpful and friendly. When you order a £35 pound ribeye a steak knife should be placed on the table Would have liked some ketchup, nobody to ask same for breakfast.disappointed that they don’t except cash . Drinks are overpriced & if your serving Guinness put it in a Guinness glass & fill it to the top not a 3” head. Would I stay again YES definitely. "From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days"
