"What a beautiful hotel you have. Quaint, quiet, nice friendly staff. The shower was a bit confusing, I didn't see the little sign showing how to operate the shower."

"I can not say enough positive things about this hotel! Monica and all of the staff were very accommodating! Yes, it’s older. It’s actually the oldest hotel in Grand Marais. If you are looking for a cozy place to rest your head after exploring the city or hiking the beautiful trails this is the place! Comfy bed, great views of the lake! (Make sure to request a lake facing room) Right dead center of the town, very walkable location! "
