"Restaurant staff were exceptional. Great food, good vibes, clean rooms. The only downside was the front desk staff providing incorrect information about amenities and where to find them. The elevator to the beach was out of service, so plan on an epic adventure down a ton of stairs to get there."

"This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area."

"Beautiful view about a mile up the “hill” from Magens Bay-comfortable room, pool, coffee shop for easy breakfast runs before venturing out-easy access to island in any direction -and cat sanctuary so lots of friends roaming"

And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV.."
