Staff was great, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Nice beach. Food wasn't what i would expect. Also under staffed. Couldnt get into restaurants and when we did the place wasnt even full. Visited same resort 4 years ago ago and it was great all around new owners are letting it go.

The room was good! The drain didn't drain correctly in the bathroom and we had water dripping from the room above us through the light in the bathroom. We did tell staff and it was fixed right away and we were given desserts for them having to work in our room. The resort is beautiful and everyone was kind, especially Abery! He was a hoot and so funny! The beach was wonderful and snorkeling was ok! We had a great time here!

Staff is great! Clean room. The grounds are very nice. Need way better food warmers. The food is pretty good but always cold.

Room was fine. Sink backed up often. Staff was great ! Breakfast and lunch were ok but the dinners were awful. Most meals were missing bowls, spoons and coffee cups. Dinner had several empty food trays every night. There were never reservations available for sit down dinners. Waiting in line several times to book and had no luck. Very disappointing. The resort was definitely not the same as it was 4 years ago. The only thing that made it worth the visit was the great beach and bar tending staff.

The room smelled with mold. It came from the bathroom, where the mold was everywhere. I asked for changing with another room, and the front desk person said there is no room available. I reached out to the manager and after ~ 2 hours of coming back and forth to the office I got another room. When I opened it I found out it has been occupied... So, after approximately half a day I finally got a room.

Great beach (oh but read the sighs on the beach - don't be scare just talk to the staff about them) , clear warm sea, friendly staff, clean overall resort, and good Oriental restaurant. Downsides: rooms with moldy smells and some were with clogged drains, undercooked seafood and bad steak at the Italian, buffet items running out quickly and some were never reloaded, also very bad coffee from machines and no coffee at all from bars, overly sweet cocktails because of the concentrated juses used and limited evening entertainment. Diving is pricey but the diving center is right there and staff are helpful. Oh and be aware that diving might be hard to book and better bring cash for payments otherwise more expensive and no refund. Anyway, overall good for what I paid.

The property was clean and beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were awesome. They had a lot of entertainment and activities around one of the pool. The nighttime entertainment was not so great but we are usually in bed by eight anyway. We did go to karaoke night and men versus women night and it was a lot of fun. We will definitely be staying again.

The resort staff were great. The food and drinks were amazing. The grounds and pools were so clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the room; the walls are paper thin - you can clearly hear the conversations from other rooms.

We have been to several all inclusives and really enjoyed this resort. The room was clean, staff was helpful, beach was beautiful, and activity staff made it super fun for my high school/ college age kids. Shout out to Diego! It is a more affordable resort so drinks were about as expected but the food left a lot to be desired. It's basically all cafeteria style and you only get 1 restaurant dinner for 3 days. Compared to similar resorts it wouldn't take much to improve. Maybe a beachside grill with fresh hamburger/hotdogs and street tacos. Basic sit down dinner with fresh Mexican options. A bit of caution that this is a family friendly resort but also lively and has people and entertainment until after 10pm.

Here is a balanced review of this resort Positives: Great beach, pool/beach chairs and towels always available, rooms are clean (however check your mattress.. one of ours was ripped and had what looked like dead bugs in the creases but the hotel did change it out for us when I raised this to their attention). Property is well maintained. Negatives: check in took over an hour and we were given the incorrect room 2x. The food at the buffet was a 6/10 with limited choices and things like stew as your meal options however there was generally one made to order taco or fajitas station that was okay. You get 2 guaranteed restaurant reservation during a week stay but the line up in the morning to reserve the restaurants are LONG… The tennis, pickleball and basketball court are great but they charge you $7USD to turn the lights on to play in the evening even though it says on their sign they are open until 9 pm. When the outdoor theatre is being used for evening entertainment you can hear everything in you room and it’s REALLY loud until approx 10:00-10:30 when things shift to the disco. Many families with young children were complaining about this. Overall this resort has its pluses and minuses and if you can get a good deal it’s worth staying at but not if you’re paying premium prices.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Allegro for a week in December 2025. The staff were amazing, especially Arby and Diego! They have so many fun things to do each day at the resort and they also have a desk in the front where you can rent a car. I only give it 4 stars because the food was just okay, the specific restaurants on the property were amazing though!

The room and the staff were great, unfortunately the food was a disappointment. We had stayed here some years ago and remembered the food being good at that time. What a Great place! The pools, the Beach, the sunset! The Food wasnt the best, the 2nd and 3rd days the “lunch” restaurant was nearly empty of food. But then it got better. People and service we re incredible!!!! We will be back

The rooms smelled pretty bad. The food was average at best. The kids programming left a lot to be desired at times. Anything in the kids club room definitely gave off daycare vibes and my older kids were turned off from the start because of it. Staff were wonderful and we had no issues while we were there. Diego was the best!

Staff was amazing! Accommodations were okay. Beds are not very soft. Resort is dated but very clean! The food was a major disappointment. I would return to allegro for the staff and overall environment. My kids- 11&4 had a wonderful time.

The entertainment was like no other resort I’ve been to. They are so nice and involved with the guest. There is always a game going on like volleyball, water polo, bingo, and more. There is also something for young kids to do too like face painting and treasure hunts. Very safe and friendly staff. You know everyone’s name by the end. The beaches were beautiful and clear. You can snorkeling and scuba diving at no extra cost! So many people we talked to had been to the resort multiple time. We will definitely be back.
