"Great little bed and breakfast. Loved the room and how clean everything was. Also great that the cottage was super close to the beach and provided beach towels for guests. Cottage also provided breakfast and parking. Would love to stay again!"

"I have stayed at the Schooner Inn several times in the past 2 years traveling between Greenville, NC and Dover, DE to visit family. It is a great location and convenient to restaurants. The room is clean and very comfortable. One of my favorite restaurants is the Waterman’s Grill and is walking distance. Strongly recommend staying here."

"Clean room. Staff helpful. Recommend getting a room with the ocean view and balcony. Bar area is great. Valet’s are fast and helpful. Property could be maintained a bit better. Dirty furniture, carpet and stained pillows in reception area. Poorly maintained gates to enter pool area. Games outside in poor condition ie. Corn hole bags with no corn in them to play. Great location."

"The staff was amazing. The rooms were probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in, considering the price we paid. I didn't eat the breakfast because I don't care for that particular meal myself. However my mom and sister found the food to be hot (eggs), with plenty of options to choose from and stated it was good. We were able to walk or take the trolley everywhere we wanted to visit, so the car was parked in their parking garage the whole trip, which saved money on gas."

"Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach"

"Stayed here 3 nights with my husband. It’s a decent hotel! It does show its age though. The actual room was nice and clean. Check in wasnt smooth but it wasnt the staffs fault, Im guessing they were having some issues. I enjoyed the fitness area one of the nights. only complaints I have is that the Ice machine by our room was broken and the soda machine was all out of stock. Upside is It was only like a 2-5 min walk to the beach. So if youre more on a budget this one would work!"

"The room we stayed looked like the cleaners just change the sheets. The bathroom sink was not wiped down, it still had water residue on the faucet. The shower had small visible mold."

"This hotel has some though laid out for design. The parking garage is street side at every level so every room has an ocean view. There is a $15 a day charge for parking but it is extremely convenient access on the same floor you are staying. Also having all the rooms beach side makes for a quiet room, so you don't hear motorcycles and loud cars going up and down the street all night. "Tv wasn’t working, the mattress weren’t the proper size as the bed frames, and will move around every time you would lean on them. Road noise was as clear as it in the room."
