"I have stayed at quite a few motels in Townsville, this stay is my second time at the Cascades Motel in Townsville, and it certainly won't be the last. It is shaping up to be my "go to motel in Townsville" because it is head and shoulders better than most of the rest. And that's not a hard decision to come by."

"What a great place. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable (great air conditioning for those of us who are cold blooded). The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the BBQ area and outdoor furniture. The staff behind the desk were lovely with recommendations for our travel. Breakfast was a nice bonus, the kids enjoyed choosing each day. We will be back."

"This was our first time staying at the Waters Edge and it was great. We chose it because of the close proximity to the Strand , restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly. We got to check in early as our room was ready. The room was lovely and clean. It looked like the bathroom had just been renovated so that was nice. Plenty of space to spread out with suitcases. A kitchenette was also handy as we were staying for a few nights. Overall it was great. And we will definitely be back....
