"The office manager was very kind and helpful . The room was very interesting with there being a bed in each room so it wasn’t just one room. It was two rooms that was cool. There’s a microwave and a refrigerator which could come in handy. The location is really good. Lots of places within walking distance and easily drivable if you’re going to Sand Harbor. "Upon arrival, had to check-in by phone. Very impersonal and took too long. The room was small with a tiny bathroom. No information or instructions was provided in the room. I paid a premium for the view of the lake and it was just okay, at best. I expected more for the cost."

"The room was on the lakeside of the property, but very little view. The room itself was just ok. Out of date VHS with small TV. Bed ok. Freezer door in fridge was broken and would not stay shut. On the upside, the property location on the lake was excellent. Nice pier and peninsula grass area. The chairs on shore provided a nice area for relaxing and watching the sunset. Lake Tahoe itself never disappoints!"

"The biggest complaint that we had was the room was extremely hot and undesirable. We were provided with just a tiny fan that didn't do anything to cool it down. Both of us were up all night and unfortunately didn't get any rest. We had a very long drive ahead of us the next morning so it was a bummer. The room also felt stark. It would be cozier with some sort of area rug on the bare floors."

"BEWARE! They will turn off the hot water mid shower without warning! If you need new and clean towels you have to take the dirty towels in a basket to the front lobby before they exchange them for cleans ones. The staff if super rude and unprofessional. Lastly, the sheets on the bed were dirty and the room smelled terribly. Do not recommend. Please resort as a last option."

"The room was small but clean. But both beds had very old mattresses that were quite uncomfortable.We woke up with backaches due to the mattresses.When we asked the front office to be moved to another room with better mattresses on the beds we were told they couldn’t help us. The location of the hotel was good .It was within walking distance to the lake and restaurants. But unless the property is updated,I would not stay there again."

"When we arrived, the lobby was not air conditioned so waiting to check in was hot (it was approximately 95 degrees outside). When we got to the room, the sofabed that my daughter was supposed to sleep on was covered in hair (hopefully dog hair and not human hair). When we asked to switch rooms or if it could be cleaned, we were told that the cleaning staff had gone home and the hotel was full. They gave us a portable bed that was not fit to sleep on.
