"This was hotel 2 of 4 hotels during our stay and was hands down our favourite. The location is really fantastic - walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and spacious for Japan. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. We loved Kyoto all in all and this hotel definitely contributed to that experience. We would 100% stay here again. The lobby has a beautiful sitting area where you can relax with a coffee and watch all the activity out on the street. "

"I liked this property a lot. Convenient location for food and transportation. I could've lived in the basement garden bathroom. Luxurious beyond words. The AC was a bit finicky, but really a non factor. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
