"We had wonderful hosts that greeted us with a smile and wonderful advise. She booked our taxi for the airport early the next morning and it arrived a few minutes early. Excellent deck to sit in and reflect on our wonderful vacation over a glass of wine. Great food in Mestre as well. I will stay here next time I fly out of Venice. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Excelsior. This was our first time in Venice and the first stay of our honeymoon and it was a great experience! We enjoyed using the provided boat taxi to and from Venice, along with the private beach access and dining options at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was also great. "A wonderful hotel on The Lido. Perfect for a city/beach break. Lovely staff, a very nice pool area. Although, we preferred the Blue Moon beach club. Water taxis too and from Venice and the airport. Our only criticism was the pillows were quite hard. Not our choice. Also, their ‘cosy’ cheapest room was roomy and had everything we needed. No need to spend more on a bigger room. We didn’t add breakfast, quite expensive and there are restaurants and cafes around. "

"Location was excellent. 50 meters from vaporetto stop with no stairs to climb. Staff friendly. Room comfortable with air conditioning. Bar convenient and staff friendly. Good breakfast buffet.
