"The owners were so helpful and kind. Room was clean and a/c worked well. Approx $25-35 cab ride to airport (download appTaxi). Area does not have shopping/restaurants close by so bring what you need or expect to drive. A great experience."

"Close to the train into Venice. About a 25 minute ride and 10 minute walk to/from the station. It was safe and well lit. Very well appointed room with a fantastic balcony. We booked because it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. Be sure to pre book your shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were there just one night but would come back again. There are some lively eateries adjacent to the property that we would try next time. We highly recommend."

"We were disappointed with our stay. To begin with, we had to call multiple times to connect with the hotel to shuttle us from the airport. We waited 20 min when the hotel was 6 min away. When we arrived, we were told that our room was in a separate building, far from the hotel. It took us 10-15 to find and get to the room, lugging 4 suitcases after an 8 hour plane ride. The location of this building was right next to construction so we had to keep the drapes closed.
The room was somewhat clean,...

"The Barbarich is a beautiful hotel. The grounds are lovely and the breakfast was incredible. The pool is an outdoor pool, and although it too looked clean and inviting we stayed there end of September and it was too cool to use an outdoor pool that is not heated.
The hotel is also in a town that is close to the airport (VCE), but there is nothing around it. We took a half day trip by car to Padua, which was about a 30-35 minute drive with toll. So, hotel and grounds and staff and breakfast,...

"We knew the hotel was a ways away from downtown Venice. 25 mins by bus which cost 1.5 euro per person. The bus stop was a 10 min walk from the hotel. We had an early flight and it was a 5 minute shuttle drive to the terminal so it all worked out very well. The bus ride to downtown was easy. When we arrived. VEnice we actually walked to the hotel, 15 mins and also easy.
This is a very nice hotel and we were very happy with our room. Clean, comfortable and quiet. And relative to Venice pricing...

"Amazing property near the train station
Staff was amazingly helpful when our private water taxi canceled the night before our flight out
The morning we were to leave the staff arranged a new driver/ water taxi right away!
Plus as soon as we checked in we noticed our toilet seat was loose. They sent someone to tighten it immediately!!
Continental breakfast was plentiful
Would choose this property agin in a heartbeat
Venice is amazing!"
