Not suitable for tall people lol as our room at least was only 6 feet wide and the bed was the full of it. "Solo female traveller, it was clean & comfy. Best nights sleep I’ve had in a while actually. Bit of a pain paying for car park in morning rather than at check in as it took a while for internet to connect. Car park is a squeeze but again not a major issue. Staff were lovely too."

"I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I booked a junior suit and it is not a Marriott quality. Because I have a pet, they didnt want to give us a newer renovated suit. "We visited again after a few years to celebrate our anniversary at the hotel we got married in. We arrived early via the park and ride bus which stops outside and left our bags at reception. When we returned, check in was quick. The room was lovely and spacious and the shower was great. Breakfast was lovely. We will definitely return."

"Initially some issues with the room where we raised it with the front desk and was moved promptly to another one. Spa and Pool in need of renovation, the outdoor is also in need of some love. Bar staff extremely slow outside, to the point it was quicker to go inside and order rather than waiting. Really good location, and the hotel could do so much better with some a bit more care and attention to the property and service. Will be back and hopefully it'll be improved!"

"This is quaint old hotel, very reasonably priced, so we weren't expecting modern luxury. It is super convenient for the railway station and close to all the things you want to see in the city. We wanted to drop our bags off early, and the desk staff could not have been more helpful, and he was very friendly for our whole visit. Our room was smaller than some of the other ones we saw, but fine for us. All in all, we were very happy with our choice."

"We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful.
