"Black Rock Lodge was absolutely amazing in so many ways: atmosphere in the rain forest, friendliest and most helpful and accommodating staff, the best included activities like hiking trails, views, tubing rapids, waterfalls, tree swings, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, the 4 course meals made from garden produce, bird watching- even at meals - staff was very knowledgable and helped point out variety of wildlife, and so many other tours the staff helps you plan and accommodate your needs. "The property is beautiful and well maintained. The room was perfect and the air conditioner worked great!! The location of the property is convenient to town and the airport. The food was absolutely amazing!! We ate the continental breakfast daily, which was really good, but we also had several dinners there and everything that we had was exceptional. All of the staff were also super kind and helpful. We will definitely stay at the Victoria House again."

"We had an amazing time! staff was great. hotel was clean. Be sure to bring bug spray. mosquitos are terrible around the resort due to the swamps. if you dont have bug spray, the hotel has. beach club was great. golf cart to get around the resort/island is a must. will definitely be coming back"

"Shake Caye is amazing......hands down the best place for tranquility, peace, privacy, unmatched service, delicious food, beautiful rooms, and I could go on and on. From the captain Andre, that's that man, to Rod the bartender, Percy who goes everywhere, Daisy and Glenda who cater to any needs, to all of the staff behind the scenes, you cannot ask for a better staff at a resort!
