"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing. "Housekeeping are amazing. the room was very wonderful and clean and staff very helpful. had some issues with wifi the first two nights but staff did their best to resolve this and then everything was fine. quiet area but very good location. enjoyed the tea and coffee provided. Thank you very much! would love to return one day if i was in the area. also very interested history! "

"Bijzondere locatie om te overnachten qua oudheid en historie. Leuke en gezellige bar met grote lounge en vele fijne stoelen. Achter het hotel is ook een grote parkeerplaats en het hotel zelf ligt aan de hoofdstraat dus wel wat drukker voor de deur. Continentaal ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid maar wel oké. Je kon English breakfast los bestellen. Je moet smalle trappen lopen richting kamer. Die was klein en compact ook qua badkamer."
