"Really lovely property next to Historic Craigdarroch Castle and within walking distance to the beautiful gardens of the Government House. My room was on the top floor and was quiet and very clean. My only complaint was that the mattress and pillows could be upgraded. It was very convenient having communal kitchen facilities available for guest to use. I would definitely consider staying here again. "

"What a great hotel. All the good things about "boutique". The check-in experience was a rarity in this day and age. My flight got me into Vancouver at around 10 in the morning, I went straight to the hotel to drop my bags and head off to a tradeshow, unexpectedly though, the front desk "checked" and my room was available to check in immediately. "An older historic home, but the room still felt a good mix of modern historic with up to date amenities. It was decorated historically, but definitely kept clean and tidy. No weird smells. It was a very relaxing stay. Highly recommend. Within minutes of coffee shops. A cafe and a bistro kitty corner to the establishment. 3 minute drive to more stores and coffee shops or a small super market. Definitely thinking of returning in the future. "

Late Night Stopover
"We were picked up at airport shuttle designated area on time. This service is free. After a 15 minute ride we unloaded with help from they very courteous driver. We were greeted at the front desk by a very pleasant and polite front desk personnel who expedited our check-in. The room was comfortable, room temperature perfect, king bed very comfortable, likewise pillows. Bathroom shower had lots of pressure and hot water. Requested wake-up call was on time and we met shuttle to return to airport as per scheduled by front desk. Driver was very helpful. "
