"My experience was just okay. I was on the second floor in a corner unit. The unit above me had serious construction work being done. It was extremely loud and unpleasant. It lasted for the majority of my stay and I never felt relaxed. I get that things need to be fixed or renovated. It would be better to block the adjacent rooms to properly accommodate your guest. "Our room was not ready at check in and it was not quickly ready either. Also, we stayed at the clan tower and it needs serious help. It’s dated with mildewed walls and bathrooms and decor that feels like it’s half trashed. Decorative lights in our room were broken and it just felt like it needs some help. The staff are lovely! The club food was ok. Nothing great though. The hot tub was also broken and the tiles are half missing. Basically this hotel wants to be luxury - but it’s not!!! ...

"First of all, remember this is no longer a gay hotel. It is now “straight-friendly”, but it seems this change is handled quietly.
Things you would expect such as bottle water in the room, water glasses for prescriptions in your room, shower soap are not found.
Breakfast is not available until 8 am at an additional charge. If you’re planning on a quick start to your day, I’d make other plans.
