"Breakfast was very good and on time. Try the banana pancakes. Staff was very helpful and toured their farm and coffee plantation. The hikes on property were great and the cloud forest experience could not be better. The rooms are sparse but great for the experience. No AC but was not needed. "

"Hotel is so cool and fun! The food was incredible and the host is beyond all expectations. So many nice touches to the place to make your stay unique and memorable. From food, to drinks, to farm animals, to games, to lounge areas to kick it."

"Limpieza, mantenimiento y jardinería de la propiedad, excepcionales. El desayuno, maravilloso."

"Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning."

"Loved it here! Especially the thermal side!"

"This is an amazing place to stay. The food at the restaurant is very good the service provided by each and every staff member is truly great. They really are exceptional with their customer service. The view facing the Arenal volcano is breathtaking. Will definitely recommend this place."

"If you are ok without air-conditioning, you will be beyond pleased. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. Check in was very smooth. Refresh towels and drink was offered and all luggage carried to the room. Restaurant with views of Volcano and lake.........no words"

"Great place to stay. Long way up the mountain, but once you get there its a great view!! The bar closes at 8:00 pm, so if you are in the middle of a pool game, too bad!! The lights are out and you have to leave!!"

"Unreal! Complete 10+ incredible food, service, hot springs, best place we have ever stayed. Pricey but worth it."

"Ideal for those who want serenity in a tranquil environment. The view of Arenal Volcano and the surrounding areas along with the sounds of the birds and the inhabitants makes Sangregado Lodge an ideal place for nature lovers. The staff was"

"Resort was excellent. Very clean food and service was great"
