Cari Hotel di Wicklow

"Staff is remarkable"

"Was only 8klms to go back into town for dinner but the breakfast at the cottage was amazing"

"Nice hotel close to the beach."

"Beautiful place ! Rooms are comfortable and cozy ! Breakfast is amazing !! Feels like you are on your honeymoon! This is a must stay on your trip!!"

"Very enjoyable stay that I would absolutely recommend. The property is well maintained and quaint but not small. Our room was roomy and clean, perfect. Every staff member that we interacted with was happy and helpful. Food was excellent."

"Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals."

"Lovely hotel in a good location"

"Unfortunately we were allocated a room on the ground floor, sandwiched between a staff cleaning room and a meeting room. The safe did not work, the room looked out onto a rough area at the back of the hotel, staff wheeled rubbish outside the window every day creating a lot of noise. After our first night, we went out until 3.30pm leaving the sign on the door to say it was free for cleaning. When we returned and it had not been cleaned, we asked reception why and were informed staff are...

"Nice place but didn’t realize how far from the city center and seaside it was. Otherwise, nice hotel"

"First time in Ireland. This was our first experience during our stay and couldn’t be more impressed. Wish we stayed the entire trip. Hospitality was next level, truly. Rooms were updated, fresh pastries delivered to your door each morning, stocked fridge with meat, cheese, grapes, sparkling apple juice, fresh milk, water… just incredible. My wife had the best espresso martini she’s ever had in the (I think new?) pub/restaurant attached. And, the town… AMAZING. Picturesque. It felt like a...

"Bit old"

"Quite disappointed with our stay at the Strand. Outlets didn’t work, shower would leak and cover the whole bathroom floor, bed and pillows were quite uncomfy. There is barely anybody ever at the front desk, the front door was locked on multiple occasions and we had to wait around for somebody to come open it. We understand it’s a heritage building and we’re looking forward to the quirks that came with that but for the price paid - we were not happy."

"Charming. Good breakfast. I walked from bus to hotel with my ROLLING suitcase. Over pebbles . Challenging. The heat never came on. No way to contact the owner. Staff was non- existing. And I was 40 minutes early for check in , he made me wait."

"Breakfast was great"

"Second time to say here within a few weeks. One of our favourite places to stay. Very friendly staff, good food, comfortable room, and lovely location in the Vale of Avoca. All good."
