"Beautiful hotel right on the water. Only issues I had were that the staff kept nudging you to purchase things or attend events so they can check off attendance on their list. Also, the food times could be better since main restaurants were closed 4:30-6 and that’s when my son eats. Hard for a family friendly resort."

"The hotel staff is wonderful! They were very kind and always eager to help. The hotel property is in serious need of updating. My first room was in desperate need of repair, the curtains were dirty on the bottom, the shower was moldy and the fridge was hot. I was then transferred to another room over 24 hours later. That room was better but still not clean, floor had footprints and there was still the mildew smell. The fridge was warm in that room also. "

"Riu it’s always a great time, it’s a party resort you don’t really come there for anything else lol food was edible. And we were able to go to the other hotel Riu Montego Bay, and eat lunch there and go to their parties. I only got to try the buffet and the snack bar. You had to have reservations for everything else which everything was booked the whole time we were there. The jerk chicken hut was good on the beach as well."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Had no trouble making reservations for any of the restaurants a day ahead of time. Buffet was very delicious with only a few minute wait to be seated. The beaches and pools were wonderful. Loved the shows every night!"

"We stayed in a basic two bed room. Our first room we found roaches and we were given the opportunity to move rooms. After moving rooms we noticed a mildew smell, another roach and the bedding had stains on it. This is the same resort that has you sign a document being responsible for staining their linens and getting charged $250 but the linens already had noticeable stains. It was constantly loud, slamming of doors, fights in the hall ways. The room service menu was terrible, the food was...

"Clean spacious rooms, very welcoming resort."

"This was our first time in Negril and first time staying at an RIU property. Overall, it was a great hotel however they charge you $5 if you lose a room key. We were traveling with a group of 32 family members and the food at the restaurants were not the best. However, the buffet for breakfast and dinner were not bad. The property is well maintained and the rooms were always clean."

"The resort is nice but not one of the nicest we have stayed in. There isn't a whole lot to do so it is more the a person or couple who just want to relax. The beach is also not one of the nicest compared to other resorts down the beach from this resort but they do offer huts which the others don't for sun protection. Water was clean and beautiful."

"Tried out this couples resort for my babymoon. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms was clean views were amazing. My only negatives is the property needs to be updated a bit a little dated. The good food is at the restaurants on the resorts the buffet was hit or miss depending on the menu. I've paid less for 5 star resorts with Michelin chef so the price was a bit much for what this resort offered. The spa was relaxing but have to cross the street to the other side of the property to visit....
