I understand it was a kid friendly resort but I absolutely hated having pure alcohol poured on top of the slushee drink. You would think at least at the adults only pool, that that could be mixed in in the machine. As for the staff, I have to say I am disappointed. I stayed at a RIU in Cancun last year and the staff were exceptional. I...

"I found the male staff members to be very flirtatious and sexually forward in a way that made me feel uncomfortable as a female traveling alone. It felt very unprofessional. My air conditioner leaked a giant puddle on the floor and even though I mentioned it several times, it took them three days to fix it. The outlets don't work to charge a cell phone and I was left with a dead phone for 48 hours. I didn't find the buffet until the last day. It wasn't a great experience."

"Had an ocean view room which had a great view and was quite close to the water. We wanted a room with two beds but had to settle for a queen bed and a cot. We didn’t have all inclusive plan but paid for drinks and enjoyed the pizza made at resort. Walking to nearby restaurants was a little nervous as there isn’t much of a shoulder on the road. Pool was warm and clean. We were there for a week and saw a band play twice there. Awesome!"
