Good variety of breakfast to choose from both hot and cold If you fancy something traditional you can order the Manx kipper. There are in house bar and restaurant facilities. "Property looks run-down with damaged wall and worn carpets. Old fashioned shower needed fiddling to balance from taps. Breakfast - good selection and reasonable value. Charged extra. Bed comfortable. Would rate barely as three star."

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff"

"A convenient self-catering apartment close to the beach. A lovely welcome by the woman on reception and the cleaning staff also very nice. Kitchen area was well-equipped and the bathroom had a bath and shower. Bedroom was spacious. Only down-side was hearing the person in the apartment above us stomping around through the floor-boards! But I guess this is normal for a victorian building. Overall, very satisfied."

"The hotel was in a great location. The airport bus stopped about 10 minutes walk away. Marks and Spencer’s, local shops, esplanade and theatre are all within walking distance. The hotel offers a good breakfast and the rooms are a good size."

"Hotel very clean , when staff were around they were helpful, Location is good for views and although a bus stop fairly close it’s a good 15 min walk to pubs/ restaurants shops"

"The hosts, staff, position and breakfast were excellent. They fostered an atmosphere of welcoming, sharing, community. Exceptional part of our travels!"

"The property was in an ideal location for all the Bowling Greens used for the Isle of Man Bowls Festival. Only 5 minutes walk to the local Tesco and 10 minutes to the sea front. The apartment was clean and comfortable with no noise from the other apartments in the building. When staying in the apartments you have use of the restaurant and bar in the sister hotel which us 2 minutes walk away. I would recommend to family and friends"

"Excellent customer service"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well presented room."

"The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed."

"Great location and very friendly staff. They were so helpful and accommodating."

"Great place to stay in Peel. Stayed only one night, but looked like it could be a nice central spot to stay for the south part of the island for several days."

"Great location right opposite the beach. Plenty of parking onsite and around the hotel. Amenities were good and we enjoyed the entertainment evening, something rarely seen on IOM. Comfy room and friendly staff."
