"Room was dated but clean. Indoor pool was useful. Can't swim at the beach because there no beach, very rocky and waves were pretty rough, but nice to have waterfront view. Very accessible to funchal by bus. Bus stop was just a block away. Font desk were not too helpful interms of going out of their way looking for excursions outside of their tour partners. Beach towels were controlled, first sets are free, if need clean ones there are extra fees and must return the towels to front desk to avoid...

"This was our second visit to the Savoy Palace and we weren’t disappointed. The room was spotless and the daily cleaning service was very good; in addition, the turn down service was equally good. We ate at 4 of the restaurants at the hotel, each of which had a different style and feel, but the food and staff were excellent in all of them. The highlight was the Galaxy restaurant on the 16th floor. It deserves a Michelin star. We will visit the Savoy Palace again."

"Stunning stay in Next by Savoy. The rooftop is very cool and the food/drink was reasonably priced. Room very big and clean, would highly recommend."
