"I have stayed here two times this past year. This stay was particularly unpleasant. I was surprised that at check in there was no receptionist; rather a remote console with a televised person, who never smiled, and who said that he was home rather than at the property. I am not at all pleased about this. What if there was an emergency that needed an on-site person at the desk. Room was quite small especially the bathroom, toilet was mounted crooked on the floor, Body wash dispenser came off from...

"Very nice eclectic classic hotel. Lobby and bar area was comfortable and cozy, especially in the evenings. Parking, although not on the property, was efficient but could be limited if your stat is more than a night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants near by."

"It seems the staff are left to manage and maintain an inn that have no power to execute anything without manager approval. I did not see any manager on the property and they would be called by staff to inquire how to fix issues. The pics of the room on Expedia match the room. Clean and newly renovated. Very unhappy with the stay there. Everything kept coming up short. Great beautiful garden area, no working fire pits. Beautiful pool, but no working hot tub. Clean room, but no TV or internet....

"I booked my stay here for my dad’s 70th birthday after reading all of the positive reviews. Through Expedia I booked a “double deluxe” room for three people: myself, my dad, and my son. I was surprised when I checked in to see a single bed in the room. No couch, no cot, nothing. Only two towels in the shower. When I called the number provider for guests services (as there is no one at the front desk) they basically just said sorry but there was nothing they could do. Did not offer extra...

"This place is truly special. The view from the private balcony was amazing!! Staff was extremely helpful when it came to dinner recommendations and reservations. The happy hour and breakfast were delicious. We loved our stay and we will be back."
