"We stayed two nights here and had a great experience. The staff was super helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions. The room was really well kept and actually looked to be recently renovated. This place has VIEWS!! Also, the bus tour out of Denali will pick you up here instead of having to drive to the transportation center and park which is really convenient. We were very happy to have chosen this property. The signs on the road up the hilll are worth the drive, lol."

"Just wonderful. Really comfortable bed (which is what you want if you're doing a lot of hiking). Historical building, with the oldest bathroom in Talkeetna (with a plaque to memorialize it). Check in at the bar downstairs, a great place to meet the locals (and their good looking dogs), on site restaurant. Note: there is no elevator, you have to bring your bags up the steep flight of stairs yourself. Loved it, would definitely stay again."

"We loved our night here. It’s right on the main shopping area but up a hill so it’s not conveniently located and also a little secluded. The room was small and cozy. The shower was great - good pressure and super hot water! We brought our pup and everyone said hi to him. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back! I added a photo of the view from our room. I will say that we live in Alaska and read other reviews and I think it’s just that people have no understanding of...
