"THEY GAVE ME A KEY TO AN ALREADY OCCUPIED ROOM. My partner and I checked in around 9pm and the receptionist gave us a key to our room. I went to the room and unlocked the door and opened it to a woman in the midst of changing. We were both shocked! The receptionist was sorry for this mistake and gave me an "upgrade" room. "Nice cozy property in a decent location, not far from good restaurants, cafes and downtown. My only downside is having to pay for parking and a mandatory facilities fee (which we didn’t have time to use anyway). Other than that, it’s a perfect place to stay if you are doing a pacific coast drive!"

"Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had"

"I loved the tall rise building and the 8th floor room we stayed in. The artwork on the walls was incredibly inspiring and beach/ocean related, which I tend to associate with spirituality, so overall I felt like I was on a higher plane. The fountain in the lobby was relaxing, and I loved all the amenities. "No housekeeping!!!! If you need anything you need to go ask in the front(extra blankets, pillows, trash bags..) . Room was kind of dirty. Floor was dirty foresures. We had to ask for a broom. They offered to have housekeeping come in and sweep and mop but my socks still got pretty dirty after the fact. The caulk in the shower is molding. The windowsills look gross, dirty, and dusty. Fingerprints all over the headboards. Water pressure sucks. Only thing okay was the price ($615 for 4 nights on...

"We really loved our stay with one exception. A woodpecker would wake us up daily between 6am-6:30am pecking loudly on the outside of our suite (#58). We asked if anything could be done but there wasn’t and it was a common occurrence. We would love to go back if we can be sure we could sleep in."
