"It is a gorgeous hotel. Staff is different . The check-in was good, but later it was a discovery that a room has a spare door which was lock. I request another room. So, later on there was some hustle. Which is wasted my lovely time. I am a retired person and would like to enjoy my time"

"I got the parking right this time and did not have the long walk from the car parks to the hotel that I had the last time. The Receptionist was very welcoming and interested in us. The room seemed larger than when we stayed a week ago and the space was marvellous, with a great view to the NZ Convention Centre, TVNZ and down to the water. Access to evening eating options is difficult with visitors under the age of 20 on a Monday."

"The room was really good value for money. Perfect for a short central stay. Shops, restaurants and the stadium all within walking distance. Bed was comfortable, room quiet and warm. Breakfast was nice too. Will definitely stay again"

"Spa/pool was unavailable after few days during our stay. Expedia perks mentioned in the itenerary was not given/available in the room. There should be a communication between Expedia and the hotel, e.g. perks for Expedia member such as beverage for 2."

"The hotel was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was nice, convenient to CBD. It was clean and the room/apartment was a good size for two. Kitchen was stocked, utensils, pots and pans, washer, dryer. Overall a great experience."

"Loved the room size even as a studio it was spacious. Loved the view. Comfortable bed and linens. Shame about the lack of cutlery in the room. 1 tea spoon. At least put 2,for a double room and a knife. there’s no facilities ( no bar or cafe on the property) the market doesn’t have cutlery or plate - if you wanted to do any cheese board or a pot of yoghurt or anything you could not find a utensil. The guy at reception we named the yes man and the lady that did mornings the no lady. We stayed...

"Pretty tired and probably doesn’t reflect the star rating it has, one spa pool way too hot (42deg) and the other way too cold (34 deg) the guy took the temp while we were there but considering they’re one of the main features not ideal. Pool was lovely and very warm easy to swim in in winter. Rooms definitely need an upgrade"

"Parking is a real issue. There is a parking garage for the same cost as the outside parking, but it can be hard to see. The free on street parking is very limited. In addition, there was a wood burning fireplace that spread smoke smell throughout our entire building from basement to 2nd floor. It actually made our room hazy and irritated our throats. The smoke was an issue for all three nights. The hotel is also a solid 15 minute drive to downtown Queenstown."

"Spur of the moment booking. Absolutely made the best choice! Location is a short and fairly easy walk to town. Slight hill but nothing too major. Check in was amazing, we were so well looked after by the lovely lady at reception, top notch service. Room was huge! Had every heating amenity you could think of! Beautiful view from the room. They have a spa that overlooks the lake and Remarkables that you can book at the front desk, ask for extra towels. Only slight downsides, sink in bathroom...
