"Great staff"

"This is a place that has been designed to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and interesting decorations. The pub is dog and human friendly and is a popular spot for locals. Jack, the Bernese Mountain dog is regularly present as he belongs to Kenny, one of the owners. Kenny and staff have put together an eclectic playlist of songs that are ever present in the background but not so loud as to interfere with conversation. The entire staff works hard to...

"The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available."

"Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

"Stay often, so it must be good"

"Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it."

Be aware of tiny steps in the corridor, my husband didn't see one when checking in and carrying luggage and broke his thumb. There can be some noise from the bar below. Also, on a main road so a large amount of fast moving, noisy traffic. Double glazing...

"Hotel easy to find, near all amenities and had a good car park. Hotel bedroom excellent, clean and well appointed. Did not have an evening meal, however breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. Staff at all times were cheery and helpful, what more could I ask for."
