We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting the area, what a great find. The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn..

The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house.

We stayed for two nights as we were getting married at the Goddess Temple and this was the perfect base. We felt perfectly at home and enjoyed some quiet time in the two sitting rooms and nothing was ever too much trouble. Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Beautiful house set in the stunning Exmoor National park is worth the 5 stars alone. However , it is the attentiveness of the owners and attention to detail that really makes Edgcott House very, very special. Room was beautifully appointed with quality fixtures, made all the more special with aromatherapy products in the bathroom and freshly baked cake left in the room each day. Property was easy to find, included parking and I had a lovely welcome by David, the host. Exactly what I was looking for and all I required, a bed with breakfast, which was superb by the way. I had a full English. Everything was spotlessly clean, towels supplied, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Was a pleasant walk into Glastonbury. I will definitely book again when I next want to stay in Glastonbury.

We loved the place: it’s a charming, quaint old cottage that’s had a sympathetic B&B conversion and is exceptionally neat, tidy and spotlessly clean. James and Katherine are exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and good fun. Everything in the breakfast room was beautifully presented and laid out with precision, and the hearty breakfast was, of course, exceptional! Everything is home-made or sourced locally. We received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival and were looked after extremely well for all of our stay. The hotel is spotless throughout and is run by a family who want their visitors to enjoy their stay. Food is excellent and is cooked to order. Delicious! Only slight downside is that as this is a small hotel, there are no lifts thus it is not really suitable for those with mobility issues as all rooms are 'upstairs'. For all other visitors, you will enjoy your visit.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful, secluded and extremely picturesque location. Everything is about quality over quantity from the number of rooms to the very well prepared meals, which clearly use the best ingredients. Limited facilities, but this is part of the charm. The owners and waitress were always on hand to ensure satisfaction and are very friendly. Not suitable for younger children, which will suit many older people looking for a few days of tranquility away from busy lives.

Considered loop walk based in Litton, Somerset. Large car park at inn close to quaint village of Litton. Great welcome by Ben and George. Upgrade room and tour. Noticed thoughtful inclusion of easy access room and adjoining carer's room. Cosy inn outside and in. Chilled front patio and rear deck area by stream. Blankets supplied! Dinner and breakfast good. Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Have stayed here several times before and hope to again. As ever, everything was flawless - splendid dinner, comfortable room - particularly like the en suite, substantial breakfast and, surpassing all, friendly, obliging service. Surely a benchmark for all those who purport to run a 'country inn'.
