"Good location. Excellent breakfast. There's no parking at the hotel. Also, no discount on city parking. The receptionist recommended Southgate parking, which is a bit far. The room is compact and newly renovated. It was extremely hot outside during our trip. The built-in air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. I recommend it."

But the continental breakfast was good the next morning. "You will only be able to use the pool and bath between 8-10 am and 7-9 pm as a hotel guest for free. If you like to use the bath and pool at other times they charge 70 Pounds :-(. Swimming in the pool is not possible (too hot and too small). Breakfast and Restaurant are very expensive."

"The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep."

"The hotel is an old building so we understand the facilities have been improved to update with the modern life. There is a lift but there are about 10 -11 steps up and down before I could move my luggage into the room. There are 4 steps of staircase before I could use the bathroom. I had an accident on my first night stay 21 May 2026 2:40 a.m., I sprained my right ankle. I could not manage to go to the hospital with only one leg. I was so grateful the staff on duty on 21 May, came and helped...

"The room was super clean, but the pillows were just puffs of air you, sink into them with no support. We could also have done with a mini fridge. The staff were incredibly helpful and really accommodating. However the outside terrace wasn’t cleaned and full of soil, leaves and cobwebs, ontop of that the drinks from the bar were an absolute arm and a leg!! Shockingly expensive.
