"A beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet location a short walk from the busy centre. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. On several occasions they called restaurants to make reservations for us. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There is a lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy drinks and snacks day or night. Overall we loved our stay and would return."

The facility is clean, centralized where you can walk to all the areas but still off the main path so that it’s quit enough. Their breakfast items were good. I utilized their laundry services and it was pricey but really well worth it. Overall I would recommend and stay here again!"

"This was our second stay at Maria Novella and we love it there but while we were there there was a soccer game in town, Florence against a team from London. We had a suite overlooking the piazza and for two nights until about midnight the fans from the London team were at the bar two floors down yelling and doing their soccer chants, for hours!! I have never experienced anything like that, there were many police in the area but they didn’t shut them down. Of course we complained along with...
