"Our room was not cleaned well when we arrived we had to pay $600 when we checked in. They said it was for a deposit and the other one was due to age but they never checked my ID."

"I was there to spend time on the beach with my new wife and we did just that. Our room had a wonderful ocean view. As for the rest of the hotel I didn’t see much. The only negative thing was the size of the bathroom. Much too small and I couldn’t get the AC at a comfortable temperature. Overall for what we needed it was ok, but I wouldn’t use it again and I wouldn’t recommend using it."

"Beach front room, it is spacious, could use alot of maintenance location is great! Even though sign said no smoking on property there was a-lot of smoking and it was not regular cigarets."

"We were there during a tropical storm and requested the pool and area around pool to be swept and skimmed. They were just a little slow on that. BUT HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt in Sandestin. The hotel facilities were beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast had a great variety of options, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. "I wouldn’t stay here again. Everyone I interacted with was nice and friendly, but the check-in experience completely ruined the stay. When we arrived around 6:30 PM, I was told my reservation had been canceled before I got there. I never received a phone call, text, or email letting me know it was being canceled, so I had no idea there was even an issue. "The best thing about the breakfast was coffee. The lobby is located a couple floors up from the pool and that was an inconvenience, compared to other hotels like Holiday Inn Express where complimentary drinks are close to the pool. The hotel also doesn't provide floats for the wave pool. The family room that I booked was not available so we had somewhat of a downgrade with smaller beds but did have ocean view so I did not make a fuss. Using the key on the elevator was also a pain. "My friend was bitten by bedbugs at this property during our stay! I called and spoke with a staff member about the issue and requested a refund. I even went as far as offering to send the paperwork over from the ER visit. All she did was shrug my complaint off and say that they were pet free??? She also said that she’d have a manager contact me which they never did. Don’t stay here unless you want to get ATE UP!!!"
