"Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."

"Nice hotel in a beautiful area, staff were polite but not very friendly. I did feel that I was being ripped off as the prices were top end and the quality wasn’t. DO NOT ask for a taxi, they organised a cab from central Reading that charged £40 for a 2 mile 10 minute journey at 3:30 in the afternoon!! Totally shocked at this."

"Absolutely love this place. Second stay here and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Emily at front desk goes over and beyond to help with anything we ask. Rooms are clean, bed sleeps great, AC works great, rare find worth staying. Close to the bus stop for travel into the city. Spacious parking. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer. "

"I was a bit confused about this property. The welcoming sign still says The Plough Inn, whereas the booking says AbingPlough. It seems a bit of a mish-mash shambles to be honest. But the beds were clean and comfortable. The young woman who looked after us was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was probably a 6/10. Even though we'd pre-ordered items they weren't correct and some were cold. Highly recommend the nearby Barley Mow for dinner. Very good. I think it serves breakfast on some days...

"The Ferryman's Cottage have cute rooms, which have both heating and cooling if required. We had to keep blinds closed as the pub guests walk past our windows. The bed was comfy and the nespresso machine was very much appreciated. The only drawback is the sound. When other guests are going to their rooms it sounds like they are literally in the same room. We could hear people taking in the room above, but with earplugs all was well. They weren't noisy. The food had been talked up and we had high...
