"They have a great parking structure directly underneath the hotel with elevator access which made it convenient and safe to park. The hotel walkability to downtown was awesome, short walk to coffee shops, bakery, Trader Joe’s, and the farmer’s market on Tuesday. "Staying at Merritt House was an all around good experience and I would definitely stay again. There were four of us traveling together and we slept comfortably in room 1 on two queen beds. We all agreed the room could use the following amenities: hooks and a table! "Bes was not comfortable room was lacking amenities, for example coffee cups drinking cups. I stayed in the room that has the Jacuzzi tub I could not get in the shower because of the way that it was made. It was definitely unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anybody room was overpriced for what we got. I’m very disappointed."

"parking was a little tight but fine. the location wasn't the best with homeless folks wandering nearby, but it was overall clean and a fair price for what you got! newly remodeled with lots of places to plug in electronics. "This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again."

"Olympia Lodge was a great stay for our Monterey weekend trip. Property was clean and lobby was nice. Limited hours due to staffing shortages so i would recommend checking in before 6pm. Breakfast was provided and the double queen room was spacious and even had a patio. Loved the spacious closet as well! Only thing was no hand soap provided, walls are thin, and parking was limited. There is free street parking on the street of where the hotel is located so it worked out. There is even a ice cream...
