"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. "Internet was good, lived the smart tv access, aircon didn't work but wasn't a major issue, there is a huge shell petrol station that has a waitrose inside, also a subway and a coffee shop on the same complex, overall hotel is decent and fit for purpose it's modern and clean, if you want luxury go else where, if you just want a cheap clean no frill stay this is the place I'd give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. "

"The whole experience, two nights, was excellent. The room was very large, well fitted and although we did not housekeeping refreshment were replenished, when requested. The food was of high standard and equally matched by the service. Only criticism was poor pressure in the sink hot water tap. It was an accessible room so understand the concern of the hot tap. "

"Hotel was nice, clean rooms. Tried to use spa facilities but were not able due to swimming lessons which we did not know were happening and did not expect from a hotel. The reception doors are locked after 11pm and we had to phone security to be let in. "

"There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return."
