"Lovely well-presented room in an ideal location in the old town. Cooking facilities were basic but comprehensive. Air-conditioning was much appreciated. WiFi very slow but adequate for booking tickets, just maybe not watching video. But location sets it all apart - a couple of minutes walk from the castle walls, the port, a supermarket, Rector's palace, and one of the best ice cream shops (Gianni's). Very pleased to stay here, right in the heart of everything, but somehow still quiet when you...

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. We would have liked to see a couch / additional seating near the tv, but it did not significantly affect our stay. Would definitely recommend!"

UNESCO protects this car-free wonderland where Gothic monasteries neighbour Renaissance palaces. Church bells echo across ancient squares while the Adriatic Sea sparkles beyond the walls. Explore the iconic Stradun thoroughfare where cafés spill onto sun-drenched plazas. The Rector's Palace and Sponza Palace showcase intricate stonework and rich history. Game of Thrones fans will recognise many filming locations throughout the district. Early mornings offer peaceful moments before cruise ship crowds arrive.

Babin Kuk offers a refreshing coastal escape from Dubrovnik's stone-dominated Old Town. This modern peninsula boasts stunning beaches where clear Adriatic waters meet pebbled shores and concrete sunbathing platforms. Pine-scented walking trails wind through lush Mediterranean forests, leading to hidden coves with breathtaking sea views. The neighborhood's upscale resorts and beach clubs create a refined atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Copacabana Beach and Lapad Bay provide ideal spots for swimming and sunset watching. Though removed from Old Town's bustle, regular bus service makes city exploration easy while maintaining this peaceful resort setting.

Lapad

Lapad Peninsula curves around the sparkling Adriatic Sea just a few miles from Dubrovnik's Old Town. This resort area blends pebble beaches with pine-scented forests. Families love the crescent-shaped bay where clear waters meet walkable promenades lined with cafes. The tree-lined coastal path makes exploring a delight without needing a car. Resort hotels and local apartments create a relaxed atmosphere away from Old Town crowds. Swimming, snorkelling, and sunset dining create the perfect Mediterranean retreat with easy bus connections to Dubrovnik's historic sites.

Pile

Unique features of Pile include the historical sites and seaside views. Make a stop by Lovrijenac Fort or Šulić Beach while you're exploring the area.

Hotel Sumratin

Hotel Sumratin

8/10 Good
"We stayed for 8 nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is new, modern and in a good location. Our room had a lovely balcony, and the air conditioning throughout the hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with a fantastic selection and everything you could imagine. The rooftop pool area is also lovely, with a bar and restaurant. The food was very good, although service could be quite slow as the same staff seemed to serve both the pool and restaurant. Drinks were expensive and unfortunately the beer was never properly cold. The concierge service was disappointing. We asked about day trips and boat tours but were mainly told that everything would require a full day. We eventually booked independently outside the hotel and found options that suited us much better. The sauna is great, but having to book it in advance was frustrating. Reception told us it was fully booked one day, but when we went directly to the spa, it was actually empty and we were able to use it. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and breakfast, but the service and organisation could be improved."

Loved being able to jump into the sea directly from the cliff by the pools of the hotel.
