"Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...

The quiet location, the lovely food, the friendly staff, all make for a really gorgeous overnight treat. Whilst last time we stayed in the four poster bed room, we opted for the balcony room this time. It was a little tired and in need of some TLC but none the less, it was a lovely stay. "
