"No carpets but means more noise, light through bottom of door. Bathtub was small and on angle so showering was kind of dangerous. Everything else was excellent. Very kind and courteous staff. Beds were very comfortable. Convenient and easy to get in and out of Barrie and downtown. "

"We were in Barrie for a dance comp so little time was spent in the hotel. It was clean and comfortable though showed signs of wear. The gym is not patrolled and I wonder if it is cleaned often enough. Overall though the stay was great and if we were going back to Barrie, I would stay here."

"I was woken up by garbage trucks picking up garbage at 5:45am-6am and could not go back to sleep. Very inconvenient"

"The staff was great. We got there well before check in because we had to work that day and they found us a room although there was a $50 early check in which the room wouldn’t be occupied all day so I don’t see the need in that. The blackout curtains didn’t work in the room we had to use a pants hanger to keep them closed and after a day of being out in Barrie our room wasn’t made up the hot tub was more of a warm tub which I don’t know if it’s just because we went there later in the night. Overall mediocre experience but great staff."

"The hotel was comfortable and the beds were great. However when we booked the room was advertised as “renovated” and I found the shower a little dirty and stained. Also we were there for a dance competition and were excited about the back-lit mirror for makeup application but our light was not working. Our floor was stinky because people were smoking in their room."

"Check in took some time as there was only one person at the desk but she was great and helpful and very informative. The cleanliness in the rooms could use some improvement. Especially in the bathroom . But overall our stay was good as it was just for sleeping because we were there for a wedding . SHUTTLE Bus driver was super friendly funny and patient . Thank you !!!"
