"Cleanliness excellent and breakfast very good. We loved having a bath, very nice cotton sheets and towels, and good provision of teas, coffees, biscuits in the room. Two small downsides: commuter traffic noise in the morning, and some background noise of music from the pub downstairs till 11pm. Otherwise, everything excellent, and very good value compared with other places."

"Book this lovely, sweet place - don’t pass it by. The sense of calm, beauty and homeliness is evident in every single corner of this house. The host is a very special woman and her two serene, gorgeous dogs are just as special as she is. The house is in the most lovely location in Ardingly village, lots to do here and in the surrounds. I had a wonderful, peaceful stay -and that means everything to me."

"Room # 7. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Door handle needs a tighten up, same for toilet roll holder. Set up for Tea and Coffee needs a revamp. Electricity plugs a bit low for old people with bad backs. Dinner and Breakfast was great. Hot and tasty. I loved the Broccoli and Blue Cheese Soup."

"Perfectly acceptable for a night or two. Parking was found on the street a little walk from the hotel. Nothing fancy, but cheaper than Gatwick and is super easy to get too from the A23. Town is nice with coffee shops, restaurants and Waitrose supermarket all short walking distance. Also very close to the train station"
