" I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse. "Super stay. Bright, clean room Superior Classic. Had tasty sandwich lunch outside in sunshine. The hotel is wonderfully situated, set back from the road and coastline. Beachy Head walks very close by and superb promenade walks right out front by the sea. Great for Congress Theatre. Splendid historic building, facilities and friendly staff. Parking on site. Fabulous varied breakfast....cereals, fruits, smoked salmon/meats/cheeses and served hot breakfasts. Love it there. Thanks"

"We stayed here for an overnight birthdat getaway. Lovely hotel and good amenities. This includes a bar and restaurant. The hotel has a small seating conservatory area at the front of the hotel which looks out to.the sea. Parking is in zone H opposite hotel controlled by Ringo.but its better to get a 24hr voucher for £2.55 from reception. Its a good location for Beachy Head, the beach and local shops. "At arrival, the building was beautiful to behold- unbeknownst to us, it would hold a number of things that wouldnt quite match the outer beauty of the building. The staff were friendly enough, and the overall vibe in the lobby was cozy and gave a vintage vibe. After acquiring our keys, we made our way up the tiny (but charming) elevator and up to our room on the third floor. We arrived and opened our room door. "Everything other than shower having no pressure at all was good but feel a little let down by shower as stayed before and never had problems. Maybe just in this room not so good?"

"Room had three single beds with very white linen, although my son found a very faint stain on his. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Shower very powerful! View was of a side street so not a seaview, which was disappointing. It's about 1km to town so not far, and there is a row of shops including a Sainsbury's and fish and chip shop behind the hotel.
