Majestic Hotel Eastbourne by Belvilla

"Had a good nights stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the building is a little old and very quiet downstairs. However the room was as expected for the price, also there is free parking outside after 6pm until 8am, so that was extra helpful. A simple cheap nights stay, comfy bed, nice views, and was up and out the next day."

"I spent one week in the Marine Parade hotel celebrating my 60th Birthday with my friend in Eastbourne and I enjoyed my stay there. The manager Zishan was very kind and polite and made my stay very pleasant, special thanks to him."

"Good stay but the air con in the room kept rattling waking me up. Reported this in the morning and was told maintenance would look at it, when I got back the rattle still occurred. Went back to reception who again said it had been logged and the offered a change of room but to a lower grade room as no others where available. Staff where helpful and I believe did what they could but when your room is downgraded because of an issue with your existing room it’s is a little disappointing"

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne

"The Grand Hotel is a long-established, traditional hotel with a distinctly classic look and feel. The aesthetic is not quite my personal preference, but I had a good stay and was particularly impressed by the service. I emailed the hotel before arriving and received a prompt and helpful response. My room was spacious, with generous wardrobe space, a safe, a Nespresso machine with pods, two complimentary bottles of water and bespoke bathroom amenities. Service throughout my stay was excellent. Rita and Sylvia at reception were both extremely helpful, as was the valet team. Room service occasionally took a few attempts to reach, but once through, they were attentive and the food arrived promptly. I also overslept one morning and nearly missed breakfast. They kindly arranged a tray and brought it to my room. The food was consistently excellent. The hotel has a beautiful seafront setting, especially on a clear day and the lounge and afternoon tea are clearly popular with local guests. If you favour traditional grand hotels, classic interiors and attentive service, The Grand should suit you well. For me, the quality of the service was what made the stay."
Beach Front Guest House

"Everything about the Beach Front Guest House was exceptional. Our room was spotlessly clean with a good assortment of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. There was a fridge with fresh water everyday. A lovely addition was a pair of binoculars to admire the beautiful view. We were on the 3rd floor which has 60 stairs to negotiate which wasn't a problem for us but someone less mobile might struggle. The staff were very friendly especially Karen who served our delicious breakfast everyday. The full English was freshly cooked to perfection as was the Eggs Benedict. There were plenty of cereals, yoghurt, juices and fruit. The building is perfectly placed on the seafront close to the Pier. Permit parking is available from the Beach Front at a cost of £3 per day which is considerably cheaper than paying at the machines. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely be returning. Can't recommend highly enough."

"It's a grand old building - and some of the public areas downstairs are nicely done, and look great. Big and spacious reception/foyer and bar area as well (Didn't use the restaurant). The room was a good size, and a decent price - but as wih many of these big, old properties, it's worn & tired. It was cleaned well, and plenty of space."

"Lovely stay at the Reymar and the host was exceptional Situated in a really good location in Eastbourne everything you need is a short walk Room was small but adequate Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and staff bend over backwards to have everything you need Staff were all so nice and helpful and the owner, Nick, is friendly and informative for anything you need Really lovely B & B"
