"Very welcoming staff at check in.The room was nice, the stairs could be a problem for some people. Breakfast was excellent with lovely produce, our table overlooked the cathedral so we could enjoy the views.The lady who served us was so friendly. All shops, restaurants,pubs and the cathedral were within a few minutes walk.Our only problem was finding an overnight car park close by."

"My husband and I stayed for one night and it was ideal. Centrally located, clean and great value. Plus the BEST shower we’ve ever had."

"I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise."

"Lovely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The shower riser rail needed replacing in one room as we had to hold the showerhead in order to use it. But water was hot and plentiful. Lots of parking available and electric car charge points too. Despite being near the main road the room was very quiet and no traffic noise heard. Staff were helpful although mixup on first morning with who was working so breakfast slightly delayed. 2nd day was much better with decent breakfast (but please...
