"It’s a perfect location for travel to Edinburgh. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk, and you’re also in the middle of the city where restaurants, museums, shops and cafes are all within walkable distance. The hotel room was small, but more than adequate for a good night’s rest."

"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

"The staff were always on hand to help and very polite and welcoming. The room was lovely and it was great having the air con. Breakfast was nice, although if you're looking for a full English they don't provide that there. Had a lovely dining area to sit and eat. Great place to stay and would highly recommend staying there."

"Rooms are very small! But they make good use of the small space - slide out storage under the bed, small closet. Comfy bed. Breakfast was cheap, simple but good - granola, fruit, yogurt, coffee. One downside was noisy gurgling pipes through the night - bring earplugs."

"Just a little away from the city center but so accessible with public busses which run frequently! A lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Room was lovely and comfortable. We didn't eat every meal there but the food we had was delicious. They had plenty of outdoor seating and we had fabulous weather when we were there in May so we took advantage. When we return we will book there again!"
