"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."

"There were only a few people staying so our room was upgraded which was nice. Staff friendly. Parking good. Bar seemed well stocked. The meal was good. We had roast dinners and couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was quite good but the cooked breakfast was a little too dry. Downsides 1. There was a constant loud humming noise in the room. No idea what it was. 2. "Great place to stay for a gig at the Cheese and Grain. Central location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Evening dinner menu was varied and bar had a nice atmosphere. Good breakfast and overall good value. Room had lots of character. Bathroom could do with an upgrade but was functional for a short stay."

"I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived at this hotel. Iit overlooked the river Avon, and we could see a little waterfall from our window. The mill wheels was working just outside the dining room window. It would be lovely in the summer. The only downside was the choice for breakfast. However you get what you pay for and as a really cheap hotel it exceeded expectations and when next i go to Bath i will stay there. As a bonus it also has a toll road running into Bath which cost £1.20p cash...
