"Close to National Mall, clean, excellent staff"

"Staff was very nice and helpful but they only have one elevator working the whole time we were there . Sometimes the waiting for the elevator was too much . Breakfast was very good ! "

"Historic hotel with rooms to match! The staff was excellent - every single person from the doorman/valet who welcomed us, W…, to the young gentleman at the reception desk twice, the lady on the 10th floor house cleaning and second doorman - all superb. The bed was comfy and room was clean. Loved the view and windows, shades. Kitchen was funky and not used but there and fine. We will be back! Thank you very very much! "
