"We had a lovely stay. The Queens room, with the tub was great after a day of sightseeing. The food was great and the staff was very friendly with suggestions and just great to chat with. Would stay there again."

"Very friendly and acommadating"

"What was once one of my favoritehotels seems to be falling on hard times. Common area carpets are stained, bathroom shower stall had moldy caulk and 1 of the 2 elevators was broken for the entire stay. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"The room was clean, smart tv in room, staff very helpful, there is a safe an ironing board as well as a hairdryer also plenty of parking. The only faults were the room was always warm that's with radiator turned off, the cold water tap at sink was just a trickle but hot water flowed well, the shower was hot or hotter no cold, there is a small fridge inside a cupboard at dressing table which makes the top warm and the noise from kitchen extractor fan very noisy at times we had to leave our window...

"This hotel has a great soul but it is a little tired. The room was great and the bathroom was ok. I spent one night here after leaving Inverness as I used it because It was only an hour drive to the Edinburgh airport (I was driving there to drop off my rental car.) It was a 14 minute walk to downtown and I enjoyed the food at the restaurant/pub on site."

They hope to kake lots 9f improvement in the near future but at present it was adequate ww stayed one night. Clean bed. Kettle and tv. Shower hot room clean staff polite and helpful. For the prices we were happy."
