"This is in a great location. Right near a go station or even the street car that runs west to east along lakeshore boulevard and queen street. Highly recommend checking out port credit to the west for a night out as well as some of the food in Lakeview as well around the hotel."

"This is a quaint hotel in a beautiful and quiet part of Toronto. The staff are very friendly and it has been a pleasure staying here. We ate out at different restaurants so I can't comment on the food."

"The heater/air conditioner was very loud and interferred with sleeping. Also, the television wasn't working properly, the audio and video went in and out regularly. But when I shared that with the front desk I was disappointed that they said it's a known problem there in the whole property. My concern is that they seemed to be nonchalant when I told them, didn't apologize, in any way, and didn't say that they were talking actions to resolve it. "

"Tried checking out at 9 am, which I think a fairly normal time for leaving an inn, but no-one was in the office. Tried calling both the office and personal number, both went to voicemail. Found a maintenance employee and they said we can check out at 10am, which conflicted with our plans. We were told that the front-desk girl had a long night. We ended up coming back to the inn to check out. The room itself was good for a one night stay. Odd stain on one our beds, and the bathroom sink drains...

"Rooms weren’t cleaned properly bathroom is so worn down. Hair and dirt in tub and on floors a disposable razor in the baseboard heater. "

"There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady. "

"This is the second time I have stayed here for 2 weeks. Everyone here is extremely friendly and take care of their guests well. What stood out to me is the Manager in charge is always there to help out guests and his staff and always has a smile on his face. The hotel is undergoing renovation and I am looking forward to staying here again once that is done. Highly recommend."

"We had a great experience that very easily could have gone very bad. Our room we had booked was no longer available when we arrived. We got in at 2am from a flight with 3 young children, so heading out room wasn't available was hard. The lady at the desk was very kind and offered us 2 different options for different rooms at no extra charge and we received a complimentary breakfast for us all the next morning for our troubles.
