"This is a quaint hotel in a beautiful and quiet part of Toronto. The staff are very friendly and it has been a pleasure staying here. We ate out at different restaurants so I can't comment on the food."

"Arranged for a higher floor room with a better view — the room itself was nice and service was good. That said, it wasn’t particularly quiet. There was a wedding during our stay, which led to noticeable noise in the hallways late at night. Despite being marketed as well-insulated, we could also hear highway traffic and motorcycles pretty clearly. Staff were somewhat accommodating, but overall I left a bit disappointed on that front. "The heater/air conditioner was very loud and interferred with sleeping. Also, the television wasn't working properly, the audio and video went in and out regularly. But when I shared that with the front desk I was disappointed that they said it's a known problem there in the whole property. My concern is that they seemed to be nonchalant when I told them, didn't apologize, in any way, and didn't say that they were talking actions to resolve it. "

"My room had a strange T configuration and the bathroom was right next to the bed with thin walls. Even with the door closed, I could hear the toilet water running all night as it had a slow leak. The room itself was clean. I appreciated that there were no carpets. The coffee cups provided in the room were too small for the size of coffee the pods produce so I made a big mess. One should select the espresso setting, not lungo ! The Café food was average. Otherwise, the location made up for all...

"We had a great experience that very easily could have gone very bad. Our room we had booked was no longer available when we arrived. We got in at 2am from a flight with 3 young children, so heading out room wasn't available was hard. The lady at the desk was very kind and offered us 2 different options for different rooms at no extra charge and we received a complimentary breakfast for us all the next morning for our troubles. The next morning everyone was very tired and trying to get everyone...

"This is the second time I have stayed here for 2 weeks. Everyone here is extremely friendly and take care of their guests well. What stood out to me is the Manager in charge is always there to help out guests and his staff and always has a smile on his face. The hotel is undergoing renovation and I am looking forward to staying here again once that is done. Highly recommend."
