"The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and is within walking distance of Newcastle University. The city centre is also easily accessible by bus. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Free coffee was also available throughout the day, which was a nice extra."

Simple and swift check in
Superb room and amenities
However arrived for breakfast one hour before closing and the lack of food was unacceptable……. what was there was probably cooked and left by everyone……
Eventually the bread was topped up and despite asking for fresh bacon and eggs they weren’t forthcoming and no explanation.
Never expected this hence my 2 star marking"

"Staff were lovely at reception, very helpful & pleasant. I do enjoy a smiling welcome. Also bar staff were great too. Bed was super-comfy. Good size room & shower room.
Downside was having no fridge in the room for a hot July weekend & that the toilet seat was stained with what I assume to be fake tan.
Pool was great too. Already booked to stay again next month."
