"This was an apartment-style hotel that was in a quieter area in the city but still within a 30-minute walking distance of all the places I had planned for my trip to Edinburgh (I love walkable cities, so this is not a disadvantage at all lol) + within a 5-minute walking distance to a convenient bus stop. "Location is great- 5 minute walk from Haymarket station. Very lovely property. The rooms aren't real large, but offer plenty of room. The restaurant in the hotel is lovely and we had great food. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful clean room. Free wifi and the free coffee and pastry in the lounge was great. Location is great - easy walk to Royal Mile and Castle but quieter than Old Town. Great shopping and restaurants nearby. Bed was comfortable. "

"Loved the big space, and the bed and couch were very comfortable! If anyone else is wondering as I did if the round dining table is a good size for working on a computer, there’s plenty of space for 1. I preferred sitting by the window there so just moved the desk chair. Super easy to walk around the castle to get places, and a Sainsburys is a block away. Felt safe at night to walk back. As someone who doesn’t usually get their room cleaned partway but had a longer stay, I do wish there was say...

"A very nice hotel with a 'living apartment' concept; whilst there is no breakfast on site, plenty of options nearby at a reasonable rate and with a hotel discount. The daily wine hour between 5pm and 6pm was a nice touch to enjoy talking to fellow guests or just read a book by their library area. "

Breakfast was great, good quality and plenty of options, although asked for it to be charged to our room and a few days later received an email stating we had an outstanding balance. A bit of an inconvenience. Staff were welcoming but not very forthcoming with information to help new travelers visiting Edinburgh for the first time. "
