"Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, good quality and plenty of options, although asked for it to be charged to our room and a few days later received an email stating we had an outstanding balance. A bit of an inconvenience. Staff were welcoming but not very forthcoming with information to help new travelers visiting Edinburgh for the first time. "

"This was an apartment-style hotel that was in a quieter area in the city but still within a 30-minute walking distance of all the places I had planned for my trip to Edinburgh (I love walkable cities, so this is not a disadvantage at all lol) + within a 5-minute walking distance to a convenient bus stop. "Extremely pleased with the Princes St Residence. We stayed in apartment 2. The place was clean and had everything you would need. The kitchen and living room was nice and spacious. Our favourite thing was the view of the Edinburgh Castle from the living room window. Perfect location for those who want to walk or transit around downtown Edinburgh. Close to everything - food, shopping, parks etc. "

"Loved the big space, and the bed and couch were very comfortable! If anyone else is wondering as I did if the round dining table is a good size for working on a computer, there’s plenty of space for 1. I preferred sitting by the window there so just moved the desk chair. Super easy to walk around the castle to get places, and a Sainsburys is a block away. Felt safe at night to walk back. As someone who doesn’t usually get their room cleaned partway but had a longer stay, I do wish there was say...

"Loved this hotel. It was a great location, walkable to everywhere. Staff was great and accommodating. Although, we didn’t eat breakfast there, the spread looked amazing every morning. If we return to Edinburgh, we would definitely stay there again. The hotel was recommended by a family member that stayed there and they were right, great hotel."
