"On entering the hotel we got a very warm welcome. The lady checking us in was excellent, warm and friendly. The room was thoughtfully laid out. Felt like a small apartment, especially with the mini kitchen area which was great. Some might think the room is a little small but we found it fine, we only slept there as we were out exploring most of the time. Everything was exceptionally clean in the room and corridors etc. Nice toiletries, fantastic shower and a GHD hairdryer. The room was quiet...

"Friendly staff and a lovely apartment in a great location (especially for the grassmarket). However there were a couple of issues with maintenance, broken blind in living area so couldn't open or close blind (ground floor), no light bulb in only lamp in lounge, no washing up liquid and broken bin in bathroom. Its a shame as overall the apartments were clean and decorated beautifully so hope they don't let poor maintenance ruin the standard. Biggest issue however was there was no hot for my son...

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...

"Friendly staff. Room was ready early so they let us check in. Suite was nice and looked like the photos. Cons: You can hear everything. People above were very loud walking around for ages early morning and late in evening. Really weird smell in reception room and downstairs. "
