"We booked 6 weeks before spring break so we did have an interior room with 2 queens, usually we prefer a suite and/or balcony. Other than that it was great for kids activities our favorites were pickleball, large size Chess, the animal show and the beautiful beach and sand bar!!"

"Staff was pleasant, however, we left an expensive full size memory foam pillow with a checkerboard pillowcase in the room. We were disappointed that housekeeping did not turn it in to the front office. The AC unit was somewhat noisy and the exterior door to the room had a visible crack under the bottom. Pool was nice."

"When I checked in on Friday afternoon, I asked the customer checkin person if there was going to be live music that night. He said yes. I also asked him if I could extend my stay by one day. He said the hotel was full for Saturday night. As it turned out, there was no music. Also, the hotel was not full for Saturday night; I checked on-line to learn there were still rooms available for Saturday night. Just incredibly lazy responses that cost the hotel another night from me."

"The Crystal Bat hotel was impeccably clean and dignified in its presentation. The grandeur from an earlier time was preserved. The buffet breakfast served each morning was fresh, delicious, and the chef was so amenable and he even prepared GF breakfasts for my husband who is celiac. The Hotel was quiet and amenities were many, including a beautiful pool with towels and sunscreen supplied, tea and coffee always available, and ice water. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to St Petersburg. We will certainly be returning again and again! "
